A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep so it can recognise you next time. This site does not use them, does not read them, and does not ask your browser to store any.
There is also no analytics service, no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no social media plug-in and no embedded video quietly loading in the background. There is nothing running behind these pages.

Why there is no banner
Cookie banners exist to ask permission for cookies and similar technologies. If a site sets none and tracks nobody, there is nothing to ask about, so we do not interrupt you with a question.
If that ever stops being true, the banner goes up before the change, not after.

The one thing kept on your device
The homepage has a sound control, and it remembers which way you left it so it does not ask twice. That setting is stored in your own browser, on your own device. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. It is simply the site recalling your own answer for you.
You can remove it at any time by clearing site data — or "cookies and other site data" — for this website in your browser's privacy settings. The site will then simply start silent again.

Controlling cookies yourself
You do not need to do anything on this site. If you want to manage cookies generally, every mainstream browser lets you view, block and delete them from its privacy or security settings, and offers private browsing windows that discard them when you close the window. Blocking cookies altogether will not break anything here, because there are none to block.
